Registration Renewal

For your convenience, the OMV allows vehicle registrations to be renewed online. You may renew online by using your Renewal Identification Number, found on the Vehicle Registration Renewal Notice you may have received via mail, or by using the information found on your current vehicle registration certificate.

NOTE: If your Renewal Notice does not contain a renewal ID number, you are not eligible to renew online because additional information is required. Contact OMV at 225-925-6146 for assistance.

NOTICE: Louisiana Law requires that all vehicles you have registered be currently covered with the required limits of liability insurance or other security as provided under R.S. 32:861 et al.  The law is enforced by civil and criminal penalty.
