The Louisiana Department of Public Safety (LADPS) is providing this web site as a service to the public. The usage of the content, images and logos on the LADPS site by any other website is strictly prohibited by law. The usage of data without the expressed written consent of LADPS is a violation of Louisiana copyright and other proprietary rights. The misrepresentation via modification of information from this website in any presentation is injudicious and shall be dealt with accordingly to the fullest extent of the law.

Site information may be distributed or copied, to the extent provided by law. Unauthorized use of the words “Louisiana Department of Public Safety”, or the initials “LADPS”, or any imitation “in a manner reasonably calculated to convey the impression that such [activity]… is approved, endorsed, or authorized by the Louisiana Department of Public Safety” is prohibited.

If the LADPS is notified of allegedly infringing, defamatory, damaging, illegal, or offensive content provided by User (e.g., through an author chat or online review), LADPS may investigate the allegation and determine in its sole discretion whether to remove or request the removal of such content from LADPS's website. LADPS may disclose any content or electronic communication of any kind to satisfy any law, regulation, or government request; if such disclosure is necessary or appropriate to operate LADPS's website; or to protect the rights or property of LADPS, its Users or Providers.

LADPS reserves the right to prohibit conduct, communication, or content that it deems in its sole discretion to be harmful to individual users, this state Department, the communities that make up the LADPS website, or any rights of LADPS or any third party, or to violate any applicable law. Notwithstanding the foregoing, neither LADPS nor its Providers can ensure prompt removal of questionable content after online posting. Accordingly, neither LADPS, nor its affiliates, nor any of their officers, directors, employees, or agents, nor Providers shall assume liability for any action or inaction with respect to conduct, communication, or content on LADPS's website.
