The Salvage Yard Auto Hulk application should be used by licensed automotive dismantlers/secondary metal processors to notify the Office of Motor Vehicles of their intent to dismantle a vehicle sold to them as scrap. Businesses must submit the vehicle information into the Auto Hulk database immediately after purchase. Once entered, the VIN (vehicle identification number) will no longer be valid and cannot be titled/registered for use in any jurisdiction.
